Affiliations

With regard to the governing of our church, FBC Forest Park is completely independent. We make all decisions regarding our ministry, budget, staff, buildings and theology autonomously. There is no denominational hierarchy that hands down decisions or decrees.

In order to work more effectively to accomplish our goals for missions and evangelism, we work in cooperation with churches of like-mission through the Southern Baptist Convention, Georgia Baptist Convention and South Metro Baptist Association.

These groups have no power of rule over FBC Forest Park or any other church, but through their agencies are able to leverage the financial resources of over 40,000 churches to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide.
